Pressure Vessels
Bendalls specialise in the design and manuafcture of ASME “U” / PD 5500 / EN Pressure Vessels up to 5.0m in Diameter, lengths up to 50 metres and 100 tonnes in weight. Materials of construction include Stainless, Duplex, NAG ( Nitric Acid Grade), 25/20, Nickel Alloys (Hastelloy, Monel, Incoloys etc). Full material traceability along with DPI/UT/Radiographic weld testing and documentation packages are offered as standard. Hudraulic Presure testing of all equipment is included as standard. Load Testing , Painting, Cladding Platforms and Ladders can all be offered to provide a ready to install service.

Evaporators, Steam Strippers and Seperators
These products are an extension of our range of Pressure Vessels but may also include internal tube bundles, coils, filters and vane packs. Internals can be fitted and tested prior to despatch or fitted at site to suit requirements.

Co-axial Pipework
Bendalls have the expertise to manufacture Co - Axial pipework for Glass Frit Tubes and other specialist equipment by utilising tried and tested procdures for welding and location of inner tubes relative to outer tubes.

Steam Valve Cabinets, Sample Cabinets, Gloveboxes
Bendalls manufacture a range of cabinets in stainless steel to suit client’s process design requirements. External surfaces are bead blasted to a smooth profile and the cabinet’s leak tested using inert gas. Motorised Valves, sampling tubes, instrumenation can all be supplied and tested prior to despatch.

Tooling Packages
Complex fabricated and machined tooling packages can be manufactured to clients drawings/designs for products like manipulators, testing equipment and lifting devices.

Wall and Floorboxes / Encast Liners and Plugs
Specialist cast-in items can be manufacured to suit clients building design to control radiation shine paths through walls/barriers. Bendalls have a range of  approved in-house bending procedures to enable manufacture of these items to the tight tolerances demanded by the Nuclear Industry.

Transportation Flasks & Shock Absorbers
Bendalls have supplied bespoke shock absorbers for hazardous material transportation flasks. These complex fabrications are manufactured in stainless steel to extremely tight tolerances and often contain a damping medium to client specification.

Process and Utility Skid Packages
Bendalls offer a design and build service for packaged Skid units including mechanical design, piping layout and frame analysis. We have extensive experience in manufacturing skid mounted Pressure Vessels and pipework and can supply the units complete with Valves, Pumps and Instrumentation fully tested to suit clients requirements.

Crane Modules & Electro-mechanical Assemblies
Complex machined and fabricated assemblies containing motors, gearboxes and instrumentation can be manfactured, assembled and tested to clients design and specification.

Spares
Bendalls have been a manufacturer of machined and fabricated spares to the Nuclear Industry for over 30 years and currently supply a wide range of critical equipment including Constant Volume Feeders, Upper and Lower End Cartridges, Calciners, Upper and Lower End Fittings/Trolleys, Dust Scrubbers, Condensers, Flange Cleaners, Filter Baskets, Stillages and many more.
